Typically the account will be setup within 3 working days.

If your business is not registered, a Business Registration (BR) is not required. You can sign up using your National Identity Card (NIC) number.

All settlement will be credited to your Dialog Finance PLC savings account. If you have opted for other banks as the settlement bank, a settlement fee of LKR5 will be imposed for each settlement.

For sole proprietors and individual business owners, settlements are credited the next day, even on holidays. For limited liability companies or partnership company owners, settlements are credited within T+2 days (the transaction date plus 2 additional days).

As per company policy, all Genie Business merchants are required to set up a Dialog Finance account. Therefore, all Genie Business transactions will be settled directly into your Dialog Finance account.

A multi-currency pricing (MCP) transaction allows foreigners with foreign cards to make payment with using their home currency. This feature is available exclusively to merchants who have subscribed to the Tourism Plan.

Only MCP transactions are subject to a refund fee. The net amount of the refund will be refunded to you, with a charge of USD50 as refund fee.

Only MCP transactions are subject to a chargeback fee. You, as the merchant, will be liable for the total chargeback amount of the transaction, plus a USD 50 chargeback fee.
